Fall is upon us! If you haven’t been up to Summit County to see all the breath-taking changes, this week will probably be your last chance. Winter will be here before we know it and we couldn’t be more excited! Here at Pug’s, we have plenty of events and specials to keep you coming back this fall.
You won’t want to miss all the new specials going on at Pug Ryan’s Brewing Company this month. First off, with the season’s changing we are now offering daily specials Monday-Friday, a 2 for $24 menu Monday-Thursday, and $7 Game Day Specials on Sunday! Check out our Daily specials here.
Football fans, our head chef has been cooking up some delicious specials just for you every Sunday. Grab your friends and enjoy some delicious food, your favorite teams on our 7 different TV’s, plus $3 pints all day. The fun isn’t over with the end of the weekend either, every Monday we are also offering Football Bingo Night. Come enjoy the game and win some great prizes.
The band High Five, a Summit County local favorite, will be playing at Pug Ryan’s this week. High five can be described as eclectic, funkdafied, and jazz-infused band with tons of energy. It will definitely be a great evening- come have a great time this Friday at 9pm. There will be no cover charge for the show, we hope to see everyone there!
Come join us at the Great American Beer festival this Thursday! The Great American Beer Festival (GABF) is the premier U.S. beer festival and competition. Each year, GABF represents the largest collection of U.S. beer ever served, in a public tasting event plus a private competition. GABF brings together the brewers and diverse beers that make the U.S. the world’s greatest brewing nation. We look forward to seeing everyone there, be sure to stop by and say hello!
With summer winding down in the High Country, Pug Ryan’s Brewing Company remains busy with a bunch of events going on this upcoming week.
First up, is Bike Night at the Tiki Bar, presented by Silverthorne Power Sports, Thursday, August 22 at 5:30pm. Bike or drive and meet us at the Tiki Bar for offers on drink specials for all of Silverthorne Power Sports’ guests!
Then, Pug’s is proud to sponsor Roots Retreat, a 3-day summer camping, music gathering and healing event, August 23-25, on the Williams Fork at Aspen Canyon Ranch in Grand County. This event will feature live music, ATV tours, horseback riding, yoga, fly fishing, hiking, biking, skeet shooting and guitar workshops. Ticket prices range from $30.00 for one day to $75.00 for all three days!
And finally, rounding out the weekend is a double dose of action on Saturday, August 25. Pug’s will be pouring it’s tasty suds at the first annual Rendezvous at the Rocks Beer Fest from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Rockyard Brewing Company in Castle Rock. Rendezvous at the Rock will feature live music, food and beer from over 25 breweries. $35 in advance and $40 at the door (includes food ticket & commemorative glass). $10 fee for non-drinkers.
Then make your way to Pug’s for live music from Grammy Nominee Missed the Boat (MTB) at 9:00pm. Catch this unique Americana-Jamgrass band for just $3.00 at the door. MTB produces the energy infused, positive, and upbeat sound that radio listeners deserve and concertgoers love. With their consistent touring schedule and 7 submissions on the 2010/2011 Grammy ballots, Missed the Boat is taking the Colorado and national music scene by surprise. From lonesome high country bluegrass to Americana-fed rock n’ roll, this is a music experience you will not want to miss.

Taking place at Memorial Park, this one-day festival will feature great live music, food and beer for most ages. Over the years, 18,000 people from all over the United States and Canada have included the Festival in their summer plans. This year you’ll not only taste the finest lagers from all over the country, but you will also find Micro-Distillery sampling (Colorado Vodkas, whiskey, rum etc…) and gluten free beer and food onsite.

In addition to our participation in a multitude of Beer Festivals over the next 3 weeks, Pug’s, in partnership with Silverthorne Power Sports, will host Bike Night at the Tiki Bar, Thursday, August 22nd at 5;30pm. With over 300 sunny days a year, the Centennial state is a great place to enjoy beer festivals, and with a festival happening pretty much every weekend in Colorado, Pug’s is continually busy preparing for its next event – And the month of August is no different!
Pug Ryan’s Brewing Company is slated to take part in three more festivals over the next four weeks. Next up … Keystone’s 17th Annual Bluegrass and Beer Festival, Saturday and Sunday, August 3rd and 4th in Keystone, CO. Part of its “100 Days of Summer,” the Bluegrass & Beer Festival will feature over 30 microbreweries from Colorado and beyond, live music on 3 stages and bluegrass seminars at Warren Station in Keystone. Live bluegrass will include performances by Sierra Hull, Hackensaw Boys, Fruition, Phoeve Hunt, Della Mae, Hit and Run, Spur of the Moment and more! Next up on the docket for Pug’s is the Craft Lager & Small Batch Festival, Saturday, August 10th at Memorial Park in beautiful Manitou Springs, CO. This eleventh annual festival is an outdoor, one day multi-session event featuring great music, food and beer for most ages. This year you’ll not only taste the finest lagers from all over the country, but you will also find Micro-Distillery sampling (Colorado Vodka’s, whiskey, rum etc …) and gluten free beer and food onsite.
